It’s my pleasure to welcome you to Joyce Chen Foods; your source for delicious, healthy Asian sauces, condiments, spices, and frozen potstickers. Our premium quality products are lower in sodium, and contain no preservatives, no add MSG, and no fillers. Many are gluten free, and many are certified Kosher pareve.

My late mother, Joyce Chen (1917-1994), a pioneer of Chinese cuisine in the U.S., continues to be the inspiration behind our brand. A well-known chef, entrepreneur, author, innovator and restaurateur, in 1970 she patented and began marketing the flat bottom wok with a handle in the U.S. market. Her numerous accomplishments have been recognized posthumously by her inclusion in the U.S. Postal Service's Limited Edition Celebrity Chefs Forever stamps, issued on September 26, 2014; a 1998 articles in the Beard House, the magazine of the James Beard Foundation; and her inclusion in the New-York Historical Society's exhibit, "Chinese Americans: Exclusion/Inclusion," which runs from September 26, 2014 to April 19, 2015.

It was my honor to grow up with my mother’s cooking, working in her Cambridge MA restaurants from a young age, and helping grow her businesses. Here at Joyce Chen Foods, I carry on her legacy, her recipes, and her devotion to healthier Chinese food.
